Movie star Tom Cruise joined thousands of LSU fans Saturday night in Tiger Stadium.
An Advocate sportswriter snapped a quick picture of the Hollywood star as he watched the game vs. Florida in athletic director Joe Alleva's booth.
An obvious fan, Cruise gave a high five to Annie Alleva after one of Leonard Fournette's touchdown runs.
Tom Cruise liked that Fournette TD run, too. He just high-fived Annie Alleva. #LSU— Scott Rabalais (@RabalaisAdv) October 18, 2015
Asked about the game, Cruise told The Advocate it was "memorable. Exciting. Everything else will pale in comparison."
It was quite a game for Cruise to attend. No. 6 LSU scored the go-ahead touchdown in the fourth quarter on a fake field goal, threw a flea flicker to set up another TD and beat No. 8 Florida 35-28 in an electric Tiger Stadium on Saturday night, thrilling a sellout crowd in a top-10 clash.
Maybe Florida coach Jim McElwain said it best: "That was a great college football game."
