HOOVER, Ala. — It’s Arkansas again.

LSU will play Arkansas at noon Saturday in the Southeastern Conference tournament semifinals.

The loser of Saturday’s game is eliminated. The winner faces Kentucky, Florida or Mississippi State at 3:30 p.m. Sunday for the title. The Gators and Bulldogs were set to play Friday evening.

LSU (42-14-1), the No. 3 seed, will meet Arkansas (38-22), the No. 7 seed, for the 10th time in the past 13 months. The teams met twice in last season’s SEC tournament, splitting the pair.

Arkansas stunned No. 2 seed Ole Miss 8-7 in Friday’s elimination game, storming back from a 6-0 deficit and getting the winning run in the ninth inning after a leadoff double.

LSU is set to start Kyle Bouman against Arkansas. Bouman allowed a first-inning grand slam against the Hogs in a start last month; LSU lost that series finale 10-4. The Tigers won the first two games of the series.

The Tigers beat the Razorbacks 7-2 onn Thursday, receiving Friday off.

The semifinal Saturday is scheduled to air on ESPNews. It will be Arkansas’ fifth game in five days.

The Hogs will start freshman Zach Jackson (2-1, 1.70), a reliever who’s thrown 38 strikeouts and issued 18 walks in 37 innings pitched this season.
