With LSU coach Les Miles there are a couple of things you can always count on.

Quirky sayings. A perched hat atop his head. And him landing top-10 recruiting classes.

Miles and his staff did the latter again on national signing day on Wednesday, continuing his streak since 2006 of landing a class ranked in the top 10 of either Rivals.com or Scout.com's rankings.

Here's how the Tigers finished in this year's recruiting rankings:

24/7 Sports: No. 5

Rivals.com: No. 8

Scout.com: No. 13

Here's how other notable SEC teams fared in various rankings:

Alabama: No. 1 in 24/7 Sports, No. 2 in Rivals and Scout

Tennessee: No. 4 in 24/7 Sports, No. 5 in Rivals, No. 4 in Scout

Auburn: No. 9 in 24/7 Sports, No. 6 in Rivals, No. 3 in Scout

Georgia: No. 10 in 24/7 Sports, No. 7 in Rivals, No. 5 in Scout

Texas A&M: No. 12 in 24/7 Sports, No. 10 Rivals, No. 10 in Scout

According to 24/7 Sports' composite rankings, which compile recruiting rankings from multiple services, the Crimson Tide finished with the No. 1 recruiting class for the fifth straight year. Alabama's class includes six five-star recruits.

Florida's 2010 recruiting class was the last one to finish atop 24/7 Sports' composite rankings.
