LSU almost blew a 37-15 in the first half, but eventually had to hold off Georgia down the stretch for a 68-63 win in the SEC men's basketball tournament.

LSU was led by Shavon Coleman, who scored 24 points. Johnny O'Bryant scored 12 points and had 12 rebounds. Andre Stringer scored 16 points.

Georgia was led by Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who scored 32 points and had 13 rebounds.

LSU (19-11), the No. 9 seed, plays top-seeded Florida in the SEC tournament on Friday.

LSU led 39-19 at halftime.
