South Carolina

On stage: 9 a.m.-12:20 p.m.

Coach: Steve Spurrier

Players: Elliott Fry, Jr., PK; Pharoh Cooper, Jr., WR; Skai Moore, Jr., LB

Question Spurrier is sure to face: Cooper is one of the SEC’s most dynamic talents, but who will get him the ball? Like many SEC teams, the Gamecocks face quarterback issues. Sophomore Connor Mitch threw just six passes last season. Can freshman Lorenzo Nunez push him in camp? Should Spurrier suit up?

Texas A&M

On stage: 9 a.m.-12:20 p.m.

Coach: Kevin Sumlin

Players: Mike Matthews, Sr., C; Germain Ifedi, Jr., OT; Julien Obioha, Sr., DL

Question Sumlin is sure to face: Is ex-LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis going to be worth all the legal wrangling? The Aggies ranked last in the SEC allowing 450.8 yards per game in 2014. Will Chavis’ presence be enough to make A&M an SEC West contender?

Mississippi State

On stage: 1-4 p.m.

Coach: Dan Mullen

Players: Dak Prescott, Sr., QB; Taveze Calhoun, Sr., DB; Ryan Brown, Sr., DE

Question Mullen is sure to face: What kind of team remains to build around Prescott? The senior from Haughton is expected to be picked as the preseason All-SEC quarterback. Can Mullen rebuild the offensive line enough to get the Bulldogs back to a bowl?

Tennessee

On stage: 1-4 p.m.

Coach: Butch Jones

Players: Joshua Dobbs, Jr., QB; Curt Maggitt, Sr., LB/DL; Cameron Sutton, Jr., DB

Question Jones is sure to face: How do you temper rampant expectations? Vols fans fancy last season’s 7-6 mark as a springboard for enormous ambitions in 2015. Anything but winning the East will be a disappointment. Jones must throw cold water on this hot topic.
