LSU junior center Ethan Pocic is one of 52 players selected to the spring watch list for the Rimington Trophy, which is presented annually to college football’s most outstanding center.

Pocic, 6-7 and 301 pounds, started a handful games at center in the 2014 season, but primarily played at right guard.

The winner of the trophy is selected by determining the consensus All-America center pick from the Walter Camp Foundation, Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America All-America teams.

LSU All-American Ben Wilkerson won the Rimington Trophy as a senior in 2004.
