Junior defender Kala Faulkner led Auburn to a pair of shutout victories last weekend and was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week.

Sisters Brooke Ramsier (midfielder) and Casie (striker) Ramsier lead Auburn with four goals apiece. Strikers Tori Ball, Logan Beal and Kristen Dodson; and midfielders Ellie Leek and Courtney Schell each have three goals.


Lady Tigers set to wrap up season: The LSU women’s tennis team will wrap up their fall season this weekend at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational in Rolling Hills Estates, California and the Roberta Alison Fall Classic in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Senior Noel Scott and Freshman Amanda Atanasson are slated to compete at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic, while the rest of the Lady Tigers will be competing at the Jack Kramer Club Invitational.

The Jack Kramer Club Invitational begins 11 a.m. Thursday, while competition at the Roberta Alison Fall Classic begins at 9 a.m. Friday.

In Tuscaloosa, the Lady Tigers will square off against teams from 19 universities, including Southeastern Conference opponents Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt.
