LSU right tackle Toby Weathersby returned to practice Wednesday.

Weathersby was spotted during the limited portion of practice available to reporters from the indoor practice facility. He missed Tuesday's practice, at least while reporters were present.

Senior left tackle KJ Malone missed another day of practice, making his return this week from a left knee injury unlikely. He has not practiced since injuring the knee at Florida on Oct. 7.

Other practice observations

  • CB Kevin Toliver and OLB Corey Thompson donned gold jerseys during Wednesday's drills, signifying limited contact because of injury. Thompson has battled several injuries throughout his career, including a stinger last month. Toliver has previously worn gold this year in practice for an undisclosed injury.
