LSU will open the season with six straight night games.

The Tigers’ game at No. 5 Auburn on Oct. 4 will kick off at 6 p.m. and be broadcast on ESPN. LSU and Auburn will meet for the 49th time. LSU leads the all-time series 27-20-1 and has won six of the last seven games.

CBS chose Ole Miss-Alabama for its afternoon kickoff time.

LSU’s previous four games have started after 6 p.m. The 17th-ranked Tigers (3-1) meet the Aggies (2-2) at 6:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium on Saturday in a game televised by the SEC Network.

LSU opens the season with six televised games. Les Miles’ team has been on SEC Network once (Sam Houston State), ESPN twice (Wisconsin and Mississippi State) and ESPNU once (Louisiana-Monroe).
