LSU will play eight straight nights games for the first time since 1958.

The Tigers (4-2, 0-2 Southeastern) will host Kentucky at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 18, in a game televised by SEC Network, the conference announced Monday.

LSU’s previous six games started after 6 p.m., and the Tigers’ upcoming match at Florida (3-1, 2-1) on Saturday is slated for a 6:30 p.m. kickoff.

The Tigers are unranked for the first time since 2008, dropping out of each major poll following a 41-7 loss to Auburn, the worst defeat in 15 years for the program.
