WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Going into Saturday night’s game at Vanderbilt, the Aggies were playing for bowl pecking order with a 7-3 overall record and 3-3 mark in conference play. It’s been an uneven season offensively for Texas A&M, which has seesawed at quarterback between Kyle Allen and Kyler Murray. As expected, the Aggies’ defense has improved under former LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis but is still vulnerable against the run, allowing 210.2 ypg in its first 10 games.
