College of Charleston guard Canyon Barry drew 'oohs' and 'ahs' from the Maravich Center crowd Monday night. It wasn't because of a high-flying dunk or amazing cross-over dribble.

No, it was for attempting 'granny'-style, underhanded free throws.

With 4:44 left in the game and LSU leading 61-38, Barry stepped to the line and sunk his first free throw of the game -- underhanded. He missed the second attempt and later a third attempt.

Barry is the youngest son of NBA Hall of Famer Rick Barry, who tried the granny-style free-throw method himself.

After Charleston's 71-47 loss to LSU, Barry is 12 of 17 (70.6 percent) at the free-throw line this season.
