The Tigers (2-0), climbed one spot in the AP poll with 1,075 points. Louisville (2-0) is No. 7 with 1,105 points, while Georgia (1-1) is No. 9 with 1,036 points.

In the coaches’ poll, LSU has 1,067 points while No. 7 Louisville has 1,121 and No. 9 Florida State (1-0) has 1,040.

The Tigers return to action at 6 p.m. Saturday at home against Kent State. An announcement will be made Monday regarding kickoff and the TV network for LSU’s Sept. 21 home game with Auburn.

CBS is expected to either pick the LSU-Auburn game or the Tennessee-Florida game for its 2:30 p.m. time slot.
