Inexperienced LSU baseball lineup ‘light years’ better, still developing as opening day nears _lowres

LSU freshman infielder Greg Deichmann could miss as much as the first month of the season with a foot injury, the school announced Thursday night.

Deichmann, a former Brother Martin star working at third and second base, has been diagnosed with a stress reaction in his foot. He will miss four to six weeks while the injury heals, according to the team.
