The meet, the team’s only home event of the season, is set for Highland Road Park. The women’s 6,000-meter run begins at 8:05 a.m., followed by the men’s 8k event at 9:15 a.m.

Both LSU teams finished second at the Bulldog Invitational on the Mississippi State campus a week ago.

Doody won the men’s event in 25 minutes, 23.42 seconds. Teammates Richard Chautin and Roger Cooke finished in the top 10 with times of 25:52.45 and 25:56.53 respectively.

The women will be led by junior Leigh-Ann Naccari, who was the top Lady Tigers finisher last week with a seventh-place finish of 18:56.28.

Juniors Dakota and Brea Goodman followed with times of 19:28.50 and 19:39.64, respectively.

Alcorn State, Dillard, Houston Baptist, Louisiana Tech, Miami, Ohio, Mississippi College, Southeastern Louisiana, Southern, Southern University New Orleans, University of Louisiana-Lafayette and Xavier-Louisiana will also be in the field.
