Just a day after the Tennessee Titans waived former LSU quarterback Zach Mettenberger, he has found a new home with the San Diego Chargers.

According to a report from Chargers.com, San Diego waived QB Bryn Renner to sign Mettenberger, who was LSU's starter for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.

After being taken in the sixth round of 2014's NFL draft, Mettenberger started 10 games in two seasons with the Titans, completing 208 of 345 attempts (60.3%) for 2,347 yards, 12 touchdowns and 14 interceptions overall.

During his time with the Tigers, Mettenberger went 19-6 as a starter and became the first quarterback in school history to record back-to-back 2,500-yard season.
