1. AUBURN (5-0, 2-0; LW: 2)

“This is Where I Leave You” — Not. The Tigers would like to pull away to another SEC title, but schedule is murderous.

2. MISS. STATE (5-0, 2-0; 4)

3. OLE MISS (5-0, 2-0; 5)

“The Skeleton Twins” — Are these really two CFP-worthy contenders? This week’s games will say a lot about that.

4. ALABAMA (4-1, 1-1; 1)

“Fury” — Nick Saban’s mood after a loss like the one to Ole Miss. Or after a win. Or lunch. Or a nap. Or ...

5. TEXAS A&M (5-1, 2-1; 3)

“Dracula Untold” — The Aggies were exposed in broad daylight by State. How do they fare at night vs. Ole Miss?

6. GEORGIA (4-1, 2-1; 6)

“The Maze Runner” — Are Todd Gurley’s legs powerful enough to carry the Bulldogs to the SEC East title?

7. MISSOURI (4-1, 1-0; 8)

“The Good Lie” — The Tigers fancy themselves SEC East title timber again. They have to start proving it vs. Georgia.

“The Equalizer” — If the Wildcats keep winning they may challenge basketball’s popularity. Nah!

“Left Behind” — That’s how the Tigers feel looking up at five ranked SEC West rivals.

“One Chance” — It’s been two years this week, Razorbacks, since you won an SEC game. Bama is your shot at redemption.

12. S.CAROLINA (3-3, 2-3; 9)

“A Walk Among the Tombstones” — Tombstones being all those covers of preseason magazines that said the Gamecocks would win the East.

13. TENNESSEE (2-3, 0-2; 12)

“Gone Girl” — The Vols’ chance to get into the SEC East race with a win over meek Florida.

14. VANDERBILT (1-5, 0-4; 14)

“Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” — Or very bad season, or decade, or century, or ...

No. 2 Auburn at No. 3 Miss. State, 2:30 p.m. (CBS)

Welcome to the meat grinder that is the SEC West. Auburn and Mississippi State are coming off two huge wins: Auburn 41-7 over LSU, State 48-31 over Texas A&M. Now they get to prove themselves again. This will be the first top-five matchup in the 100-year history of State’s Davis Wade Stadium, and it promises to be a thriller. Both teams are led by Heisman-candidate quarterbacks and both rank in the top five in the SEC in scoring offense and defense.
