LSU left tackle La’el Collins has been named to the Rotary Lombardi Award watch list.

Collins, a 6-foot-5, 315-pound senior from Baton Rouge, is one of 123 players on the watch list for the award, presented to the nation’s best lineman or linebacker.

Past winners of the award include Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te’o, Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley and Nebraska’s Ndamukong Suh.

Collins is also on the watch list for the Outland Trophy, along with left guard Vadal Alexander. That award goes to the nation’s best interior lineman.

LSU sophomore Tre’Davious White was named to the Jim Thorpe Award watch list, an award presented to the nation’s best defensive backs.

Kicker Colby Delahoussaye is on the Lou Groza Award watch list, presented to the nation’s best kicker.
