LSU senior left tackle La’el Collins has reeled in four honors in four days.

On Thursday, Collins made USA Today’s All-American Second Team. The Baton Rouge native already this week made two All-SEC First Teams and won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy, given annually to the SEC’s most outstanding blocker.

Collins is projected as a mid-to-late first round selection in the NFL Draft in the spring. Projected as a second-round pick last season, Collins passed on the draft and remained at LSU for his senior season.

He helped lead the Tigers to an 8-4 regular season. No. 22 LSU meets Notre Dame (7-5) in the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30.
