The release was delayed by a marathon regional final between Florida Atlantic and North Carolina, but the LSU baseball team learned its super regional matchup with Oklahoma is getting prime billing when the NCAA unveiled its super regional schedules early Tuesday morning.

The Tigers’ three-game series against OU will take place Friday through Sunday at Alex Box Stadium, with every game slotted for a 6 p.m. start. Friday night’s edition will be broadcast on ESPN, while the next two games will be televised on ESPN2.

Outside of a potential matchup of aces in Nola and Gray, the Sooners carry the added storyline of trying to venture into the postseason while representing a state ravaged in recent weeks by tornadoes, especially in the Oklahoma City area.
