ESPN basketball analyst Jay Bilas took the LSU basketball program to task after former Tigers forwards Jarell Martin (selected by the Memphis Grizzlies with the 25th pick) and Jordan Mickey (selected by the Boston Celtics with the 33rd pick) were selected in the NBA Draft on Thursday.

Martin played alongside former LSU forward Jordan Mickey, who also was expected to be drafted.

LSU finished the season with a 22-11 record and lost to North Carolina State 66-65 in the first round of the NCAA tournament.

"You wonder why they (LSU) didn't win a little bit more," Bilas said during the broadcast after Martin was picked by Houston.

Martin, a 6-10 forward, averaged 16.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and was named first-team All-SEC.

Mickey, a 6-8 forward, averaged 15.4 points, 9.9 rebounds and made the coaches All-SEC team.
