Chris Kragthorpe and Carter Blount, two Georgia support staff members last year, are joining the LSU support staff. FootballScoop.com reported.
Kragthorpe is the son of Steve Kragthorpe, the Tigers’ former offensive coordinator and current chief of staff. Blount is an Alabama graduate who served as an assistant at Birmingham Southern and in a support staff role at South Alabama before joining the Georgia staff.
Blount is joining the staff as a special teams graduate assistant. Kragthorpe is joining as an offensive analyst. Kragthorpe returns to the LSU staff after a year at Georgia. He tweeted about the move Thursday.
Proud to be back at LSU with a great staff, great players, and some of the best fans in sports! #ForeverLSU
