The LSU soccer team will host Georgia at 6 p.m. Thursday for the Tigers’ Southeastern Conference home opener. The game will be shown on the SEC Network.

The Tigers (5-1-2, 0-1 SEC) and Bulldogs (1-5-1, 0-1) are both coming off wins Sunday. LSU upset No. 15 Duke 1, and Georgia beat Samford 1-0.

LSU is led by striker Summer Clarke and forward Jorian Baucom, who have combined to score 12 of the Tigers’ 16 goals. Baucom has an SEC-leading eight goals, second best in the nation. She is the SEC Offensive Player of the Week after scoring in LSU’s SEC opener at Alabama on Friday and the game-winning penalty kick against Duke.

LSU’s defensive unit held the Blue Devils to their second-lowest shot count of the season with 13. Goalkeeper Catalina Rubiano saved all five shots on goal.
