If you have tickets to LSU's season opener against BYU, which was originally scheduled to be played at NRG Stadium in Houston, keep reading...

Fans who purchased tickets and/or parking passes through LSU's ticket office will have their money refunded automatically beginning Tuesday, the school said. Tickets don't transfer.

New ticket sales will begin soon, and the LSU ticket office is working with AdvoCare Texas Kickoff officials "to set up a purchasing structure for the event," which will be 8:30 p.m. Saturday at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.

The school said it'll alert fans when tickets are available.

On WNXX-FM 104.5 Tuesday morning, LSU athletic director Joe Alleva said those who bought tickets for the game in Houston will have first priority for tickets in New Orleans, followed by LSU football season ticket holders, then LSU students and finally the general public.

LSU didn't specify how ticket purchases handled through third parties, such as StubHub, should be handled.

"We will be canceling and refunding all orders for the BYU-LSU game. You should receive an email update on that shortly," StubHub announced Monday night.

LSU's ticket office can be reached at www.lsutix.net or 225-578-2184.
