LSU senior catcher Kade Scivicque was named Southeastern Conference Co-Player of the Week, sharing the award with Florida outfielder Buddy Reed.

Scivicque batted .545 (6-for-11) as LSU went 3-1 last week. He had one double, two homers, four RBI, five runs, a 1.182 slugging percentage and a .538 on-base percentage.

In LSU’s three-game sweep last weekend over Boston College, Scivicque hit .667 (4-for-6) with two homers, four RBI and five runs. He was 3-for-4 with two homers, three RBI and three runs in the Tigers’ 16-2 win over BC on Saturday, and the effort marked the first multi-homer game of Scivicque’s career.
