WR/KR Russell Shepard

Last season’s stats: 33-249-1 receiving, 32-226-2 rushing.

Shepard makes his season debut after being ineligible for the first three games for violating an NCAA regulation. His presence gives QB Jarrett Lee an experienced receiver to complement top receiver Rueben Randle and true freshman Odell Beckham, who has caught a team-high 15 passes. Coach Les Miles said he plans to use Shepard as a returner as well.
