It’s the season for college football watch lists.

Linebacker Kendell Beckwith, safety Jamal Adams, defensive back Tre’Davious White and running back Leonard Fournette all landed on watch lists for college football awards, LSU announced on Tuesday.

Fournette was selected to the 80th annual Maxwell Award watch list, while Beckwith, White and Adams were all named to the 22nd annual Chuck Bednarik Award watch list.

The Maxwell Award, named in honor of Robert W. “Tiny” Maxwell, has been given to America’s college player of the year since 1937. The Bednarik Award has been presented to the college defensive player of the year since 1995.

This marks the second consecutive season in which Fournette has earned a spot on the Maxwell Award preseason watch list. Beckwith is also a two-time nominee for the Bednarik Award, and he finished as a semifinalist in 2015.

Five LSU players have now been named to watch lists. Center Ethan Pocic landed on the Rimington Award watch list. The award is given to the nation’s best center.

Adams was also named to the 2016 Lott IMPACT Trophy watch list. It goes to the student-athlete who exhibits the characteristics displayed by Ronnie Lott during his legendary college and professional careers.
