Sophomore left-hander Cody Glenn is not on LSU’s active roster for the Baton Rouge Regional, which begins with the Tigers’ game against Jackson State at 2 p.m. Friday, because of a violation of team rules, the team announced Thursday night.

Glenn (7-2, 2.41 ERA) would have started Sunday in LSU’s third game in the double-elimination tournament. Coach Paul Mainieri did not say who would make that start if the Tigers are still playing Sunday.

“Cody will not be on the active roster for the regional this weekend,” Mainieri said in a statement released by the university. “Should we advance to the next round of the NCAA tournament, Cody’s status will be evaluated next week and a determination will be made concerning his return to the active roster.”
