LSU will decide Wednesday morning if it will move its baseball game against Southeastern Louisiana, scheduled for Wednesday night, to Thursday, a school spokesman said.

The Tigers (6-1) and Lions (5-3) are scheduled to meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Alex Box Stadium. Wednesday’s forecast calls for a 100 percent chance of rain and a high of 47 degrees.

Coach Paul Mainieri said Monday that the two teams had agreed on a makeup date of Thursday if the forecast for Wednesday didn’t change. The teams were expected to decide Tuesday on moving the game.

LSU, ranked in the top 8 in all of the major polls, will play six games in seven days if the game is moved to Thursday. The Tigers host Princeton in a three-game weekend series starting Friday. They host Sam Houston State on Tuesday and Grambling on Wednesday.
