Position: Wide receiver
Height: 6 feet
Weight: 194 pounds
High School: Barbe High School
Strengths: Before Quinn even arrived on campus, the all-time leading high school receiver drew praise for his strong hands at receiver. Quinn has backed that compliment up early in camp, and he’s already drawing comparisons to Jarvis Landry’s playmaking ability.
Needs to work on: In a receiving corps filled with burners, Quinn is one of the lone wide outs currently slotted into a “possession receiver” description. If Quinn finds his legs in the coming years, he’ll be a tough matchup for any defensive back.
Wide receiver Travin Dural said: “He’s a guy who can play the slot or the outside, and he made spectacular catches all throughout his high school career. Once you have that trait in you, it doesn’t go away.”
Projection: Quinn may not find himself initially listed as a top-three receiver on the depth chart, but he’s more than capable of moving into the slot and becoming a security blanket for LSU’s two young QBs.
“That’s great. Whoever made those paintings needs to be making some money somewhere. That’s a great picture.”
