Despite spending the past few weeks training and rehabilitating in Baton Rouge, former Tiger linebacker Kendell Beckwith was not able to participate in a pro day event Wednesday at LSU.

Other news coming from the event: Former LSU running back Leonard Fournette -- who reportedly checked in at 228 pounds, down from 240 -- was not scheduled to participate in the 40-yard run, opting to stand on his NFL combine time of 4.51.

Beckwith, who ruptured an anterior cruciate ligament in his knee during LSU’s game against Florida last season, said earlier that felt like he was at near full-strength, with one exception.

“Doing great,” Beckwith said in a brief interview last week. “Just can’t cut yet.”
