With LSU spring practice winding down, a projected August two-deep depth chart _lowres

LSU heads into the spring game Saturday with fewer questions – and position battles – than normal.

The Tigers return 18 of 22 starters. They lose their starting two tackles (Vadal Alexander and Jerald Hawkins), their starting weak-side linebacker (Deion Jones) and starting nickel/safety (Jalen Mills).

After a 14-practice spring, many of those spots seem solidified. Maea Teuhema is a guy coaches hope can lock down left tackle, and Toby Weathersby and K.J. Malone seem to be in a fight at right tackle. Donte Jackson is LSU’s nickel, secondary coach Corey Raymond said this spring, and Duke Riley appears to be the favorite to replace Jones.
