LSU and coach Les Miles did "it" again.

"It" is finishing the recruiting period strong and inking a top-notch class on national signing day.

After most schools finalized their classes Wednesday, national recruiting experts heaped praise on LSU's class, which ranked anywhere from No. 5 to No. 13 in the country.

"The LSU Tigers have been known to close well at the end of the recruiting process and Les Miles and his staff did just that in 2015," Rivals.com's Jason Howell writes.

24/7 Sports ranked LSU highest among national recruiting services, labeling the Tigers' class No. 5 in the country.

"LSU fought its way into the top five on National Signing Day, moving up three spots with Top247 offensive tackle Toby Weathersby, four-star playmaker Derrick Dillon receiver Brandon Martin and tight end Foster Moreau also signing," said 24/7 Sports' Steve Wiltfong.

24/7 Sports named LSU one of its seven signing day winners along with Florida and Auburn. It also named Alabama the recruiting national champion for the fifth straight year thanks in part to the Crimson Tide's Mario Cristobal, who was named the nation's top recruiter.
