Scott Rabalais’ SEC Rating Game: How high can these pigs fly? _lowres

1. Alabama (9-1, 6-1; last week: 1)

Don’t know if this will be a precursor to new “Star Wars” movie, but the dark side of the force is alive and well.

2. Florida (9-1, 7-1; last week: 3)

Gators, fans got “catfished” by a guy selling bogus team information. Been a wilder year at UF than you might think.

3. Arkansas (6-4, 4-2; last week: 6)

Hogs were lucky to win at Ole Miss but not at LSU; 5-1 in last six games moves them here.

4. LSU (7-2, 4-2; last week: 2)

From No. 2 to through? No one’s year is in more danger of going from good to bad than Les Miles.

5. Ole Miss (7-3, 4-2; last week: 5)

Ole Miss athletics gets record $25 million donation. How much would LSU win be worth?

6. Georgia (7-3, 5-3; last week: 7)

Mark Richt’s future looked much shakier than Miles’ just a week ago.

7. Texas A&M (7-3, 3-3; last week: 9)

With a big donation, you too could get a shot in the Aggies’ quarterback derby.

8. Mississippi State (7-3, 3-3; last week: 4)

First a loss to Alabama, now Arkansas. LSU knows your pain, Bulldogs.

9. Tennessee (6-4, 3-3; last week: 8)

In the latest Neyland Stadium turf saga, North Texas accused Vols of simply painting over the worst parts. Ouch.

10. Auburn (5-5, 2-5; last week: 10)

Tigers will beat Idaho to get bowl eligible, but the goals have definitely changed.

11. Vanderbilt (4-6, 2-4; last week: 12)

Rating Game admits it was wrong about Derek Mason. His Dores playing with heart.

12. Kentucky (4-6, 2-6; last week: 11)

UK beat Duke in basketball Tuesday. Think anyone noticed football has lost 5 in a row?

13. Missouri (5-5, 1-5; last week: 14)

Will the Gary Pinkel Farewell Tour end in a bowl? Beating Vols or Hogs will be tough.

14. South Carolina (3-7, 1-7; last week: 13)

The SEC schedule is done, no bowl, so “Justin Fuente, Tom Herman, come on down!!!”

LSU at Ole Miss, 2:30 p.m. Saturday (CBS)

The penultimate weekend of the regular season will ultimately mean a lot for both teams. Serious pressure is mounting on LSU coach Les Miles after two straight losses. Ole Miss needs Auburn to upset Alabama but for now is still in contention for its first SEC Championship Game.

Alabama clinches the SEC West if LSU beats Ole Miss. Florida has clinched the East. ... Saturday’s contest against Tennessee will be the final home game for Missouri coach Gary Pinkel, who announced his retirement last week at season’s end for health reasons. Pinkel has been Missouri’s coach since 2001. ... Kentucky has lost five straight after a 4-1 start and needs to beat Charlotte and Louisville to be bowl eligible.
