HOOVER, Ala. – LSU’s game Friday against Alabama has been moved up to 3 p.m. due to the strong chance of severe weather, the school announced on Thursday.

The Tigers (24-5, 5-4 Southeastern Conference) and Crimson Tide (15-12, 4-5) meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in Game 1 of the three-game series at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. They were set to meet at 7 p.m. Friday, too, before the change.

There is a 100 percent chance of rain on Friday night in the Birmingham area with winds of 10 to 20 miles per hour. Game 3 between the teams is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday.
