Scouting report

UL-Monroe was looking to go 2-0 with a win Saturday over Idaho after springing a 17-10 upset Aug. 28 against Wake Forest. Defense has been the watchword for the Warhawks, who held Wake Forest to minus-3 yards rushing and 94 yards overall. Quarterback Pete Thomas, who threw for 189 yards vs. Wake Forest, and running back Centarius Donald rushed for 117 yards to lead the Warhawks’ attack.
