OMAHA, Neb. - LSU’s game against TCU in the College World Series opener was delayed by rain and was set to start at 2:35 p.m.

First pitch was originally scheduled for 2 p.m. before a light rain shower hit TD Ameritrade Park. The game will still be televised on ESPN.

The Tigers (53-10) and the Horned Frogs (49-13) meet in the first game of the second day of the CWS. Vanderbilt and Cal State Fullerton meet in the second game of the day, set for 7 p.m.

The losers and winners of Sunday’s pair of games meet Tuesday in the double-elimination event.
