LSU's big move to bring Wisconsin's Dave Aranda to be the Tigers' new defensive coordinator is a move worth the price, according to a report on FOX Sports.

Aranda will be starting a three-year deal with the Tigers for $1.3 million per year, and rising. Also, if Les Miles is released or let go from LSU, Aranda is not tied to Miles' contract.

During Aranda’s three seasons as Wisconsin’s defensive coordinator, the Badgers rank No. 1 nationally in total defense, No. 2 in scoring defense, No. 3 in pass defense and No. 4 in run defense.
