SCOTT RABALAIS' TAKE: Games like this one Saturday against Mississippi State will make the difference for LSU between reaching the likes of a New Year’s Six bowl for or the first time since the 2012 BCS championship game or settling for one of the others. So far, LSU is on track. It’s a personal preference, but it would be something to see LSU finally play Michigan in football for the first time. How about the Tigers in the Cotton Bowl against the Wolverines?
