Just in case the 2015 LSU football season needed another plot twist...
According ESPN Baton Rouge radio host Matt Moscona, a representative from the Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl said Saturday that an LSU-Michigan matchup in the postseason game is a strong consideration as long as either Michigan State, Iowa or Ohio State end up in a New Year's Six bowl game (Rose, Orange, Cotton, Fiesta, Sugar, Peach and Cotton bowls).
Southeastern Conference favorite Alabama would also need to defeat Florida in the conference title game next weekend for the Tigers and Wolverines to potentially square off.
The Citrus Bowl will be played Jan. 1 in Orlando, Fla.
Of course, LSU coach Les Miles is a former Michigan player and assistant coach. Miles is never shy about expressing his affinity for Michigan and has been linked to the past three head coaching vacancies in Ann Arbor.
More details to come in the next few days about LSU's bowl possibilities.
