LSU softball made it a full two days into the season before the Louisiana weather made a visit.

The Tigers will play UMass at noon Sunday for the final game of the Tiger Classic after rain delays forced the program to postpone Saturday's original slate of four games.

LSU was scheduled to play UMass and Syracuse on Saturday night while Southern miss and UT-Arlington and then Southern Miss and Syracuse set to be played earlier in the day.

A spokesperson for LSU said there are no plans to remake the Tigers' game against Syracuse.

Before LSU's game Sunday, the Tiger Classic will attempt to finish Saturday's game between UT-Arlington and Southern Miss, which was delayed in the fifth inning with the Golden Eagles leading 4-2. That game will begin at 8:30 a.m. from the point of the delay.

Syracuse and Southern Miss will follow, and then LSU and UMass.

LSU opened the season with a 3-0 record, including two wins Friday night against UT-Arlington and Southern Miss.
