Ethan Pocic (No. 77) is gone. The Tigers could use him on a line that's taken hits to its depth this offseason.

Three LSU football players received Senior Bowl invitations, and another six have been invited to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, the school confirmed.

Linebacker Kendell Beckwith, center Ethan Pocic and cornerback Tre’Davious White got invites to the Senior Bowl, the premiere college football all-star game played annually at Mobile’s Ladd-Peebles Stadium. This year’s game is scheduled for Jan. 28.

A slew of players were invited to the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl, another senior all-star game played yearly in Carson, California. Those players include receiver Travin Dural, outside linebacker Tashawn Bower, offensive guard Josh Boutte, tight end Colin Jeter, defensive tackle Christian LaCouture and linebacker Duke Riley.

It’s unclear if any of the players will accept invitations to either event. Pocic, the only player Monday who spoke to reporters about his invitation, said he hopes to play in the Senior Bowl, but he has not accepted the invite. It may depend on his injury situation at the time of the game, he said.

Senior Day ceremonies

LSU will recognize about 18 seniors during Senior Day ceremonies, and that group will include LaCouture, the school confirmed.

LaCouture, a defensive tackle who suffered a season-ending injury during preseason camp, is not expected to seek a redshirt year. Injured outside linebacker Corey Thompson is seeking a medical redshirt and expects to return next year, interim coach Ed Orgeron said last month. Thompson is not scheduled for recognition during Senior Day ceremonies, the school confirmed.
