LSU Tiger Marching Band Videographer Moe Athmann captured everything from the band’s halftime preparations with 3 Doors Down to it accompaniment of Coach Les Miles’ proud rendition of the university’s Alma Mater at the end of the game in his final regular season video.

And in between, watch for Cathy Miles’ celebratory sing-along with Garth Brooks’ “Callin’ Baton Rouge.”

Tiger Stadium was bursting in emotion during LSU’s 19-6 victory over Texas A&M, and in the midst of it, the band handed the crowd an energetic halftime performance with the rock band from Escatawpa, Mississippi, which performed its hit, “Kyptonite.” Athmann documented the walk-through preparation with Tiger Band Director Roy King the night before and the band’s 7 a.m. stadium rehearsal the day of the game.

And though the stadium responded to 3 Doors Down, the roar was loudest for Miles when his players hoisted him on their shoulders and gave him a ride to the north end zone, where the Alma Mater is music to his ears.

Athmann’s video brings fans behind the scenes and on the field, giving them a chance to savor these moments in LSU football history.
