Move over, Ezekiel Elliott.

The Ohio State running back may be the 2016 NFL draft’s top running back pick, but if LSU’s Leonard Fournette were eligible, it would be a much different story, according to football analyst Mel Kiper.

In an ESPN interview, Kiper said Fournette would undoubtedly be the NFL draft's top-rated prospect this year, if he were eligible.

"He would be No. 1 on the big board if he were draft-eligible," Kiper said. "To me, he's the next Adrian Peterson."

As a true sophomore, Fournette will not be eligible for the NFL until 2017.

In last Saturday's game against Auburn, Fournette rushed for 228 yards and three touchdowns on 19 carries. He is largely considered to be a Heisman Trophy front-runner.
