National media members gathered Thursday for a mock selection of the College Football Playoff’s final four teams. The real CFP committee meets Oct. 28 to begin discussion about who should be in the inaugural playoff.

The mock committee consisted of national reporters who used the 2008 regular season in picking the CFP.
