HOOVER, Ala. ? The prelude to the 2011 football season in the Southeastern Conference begins Wednesday with the start of SEC Football Media Days at the Wynfrey Hotel in suburban Birmingham.

Coaches and players from Arkansas, Florida, South Carolina and Mississippi State will participate in Wednesday?s session. They?ll be followed by Kentucky, Georgia, Auburn and Tennessee on Thursday.

Media Days wraps up Friday with LSU, Alabama, Vanderbilt and Ole Miss. Attending for LSU will be coach Les Miles, quarterback Jordan Jefferson, wide receiver Russell Shepard and linebacker Ryan Baker.

Also announced Friday will be the preseason All-SEC team and preseason conference predictions as selected by the attending media.
