The Oklahoma State football team was rolling towards a possible Bowl Championship Series championship game against No. 1 LSU in 2011 until a 37-31 overtime loss to Iowa State in their 11th game knocked the second-ranked Cowboys out of the title hunt.

Four years later, Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy doesn't regret the Iowa State loss.

Instead, Gundy regrets the Cowboys not having a chance to play against LSU.

"I don’t think there’s any question that we would have won by three touchdowns," Gundy told the Tulsa World newspaper. "We could score with anybody.”
