LEXINGTON, Ky. — After two frustrating days, LSU regrouped Sunday behind Baylee Corbello’s three-hit shutout and Emily Griggs’ three hits to beat Kentucky 2-0 in Southeastern Conference softball.

Corbello (8-0) struck out eight and walked just two in seven innings. She did not give up an extra-base hit.
In the fourth inning, Kellsi Kloss hit a single up the middle, and Sandra Simmons followed with bunt single. And error on the play moved the runners to second and third.
Dylan Supak then hit an RBI single to right center, leaving runners at the corners. One out later, Griggs singled through the left side to drive in Simmons.
Griggs went 3-for-3 with a triple and an RBI, Supak was 1-for-3 with an RBI, and Simmons finished 2-for-2 with a run. Bailey Landry hit a double.
Kelsey Nunley (10-5) struck out nine in 6.1 innings for Kentucky (23-9, 3-6).
Christian Stokes, Sylver Samuel and Brooklin Hinz each singled for the Wildcats.
