Another spot opened in LSU's signing class.

Stephen Guidry, a Hinds Community College receiver originally from Morganza, will spend another year at junior college, he announced on Twitter on Wednesday morning.

Guidry, the No. 1-ranked junior college receiver in the nation, committed to the Tigers this past fall over Alabama, Georgia, Miami and others. Guidry was one of three receiver commitments in the Tigers' 2017 group, including Edna Karr's Racey McMath and mid-year enrollee Mannie Netherly.

Two receivers are among the eight uncommitted targets announcing on signing day: Amite's Devonta Smith and Alabama wideout Nico Collins. The Tigers are not the favorite to land either prospect.

In his post on Twitter on Wednesday, Guidry wrote that he will graduate early next year in December and enroll at his college choice next January.
