SCOTT RABALAIS' TAKE: OK, forget about what’s most likely to happen. Let’s talk about the bowl matchup I would most like to see happen, within the framework of what’s realistic for LSU at this point. In other words, no trip to the Rose bowl for the CFP semifinals. I like the Tigers in the TaxSlayer Bowl, formerly the Gator Bowl, for the first time in 30 years. The opponent: Purdue, former team of LSU quarterback Danny Etling.

BOWL GUIDE

Music City Bowl: Dec. 29, Nashville, Tennessee

Liberty Bowl: Dec. 30, Memphis, Tennessee

TaxSlayer Bowl: Dec. 30, Jacksonville, Florida
